My father has diabetes, and I do not know what to cook for him. His sugar level is always high because of this. Where would I go about finding some tasty recipes, that will not make his sugar level to high?
I am so sorry to listen about your father Tommy. It is surely difficult to cook something really good for persons suffering from diabetes. I have being googling for the recipes that are apt for persons suffering from diabetes. Check out this site: http://vgs.diabetes.org/recipe/index.jsp which provides some good amount of recipes for such people suffering from diabetes.
Even my dad is suffering from diabetes and I am indian so our food diet is very different. For him we try and make light food which you could also try

Breakfast
We try and give him Upma, idly, poha(9 am)
A light cool drink as it is summer (11 am)
Lunch: fulka without ghee or butter WIth lots of salad and vegetables
Snacks: Biscuit and some bread item with sugar free tea or coffee
dinner: fulka or rice without ghee or butter WIth lots of salad and vegetables
More greens and vegetables are apt for Diabetics but avoid too much citrus fruit. Apples and pears are slightly better.

Here are some useful places you can try some nice recipes.
