I am 24 years old and work in a hospital. Recently, they were testing the PT, PTT, and INR machine that measures the clotting factors. I have always been healthy and have never gone to the doctor much or had any tests run. When they ran those test on about 50 employees to check the machine, which was working well, my numbers were ways higher and lower than everyone else's. I have a very light complexion, and I bruise really really easy, and I have read that is a sign of a clotting disorder, and my numbers were really out of range. But I have also read that Hemophilia is a genetic trait that is inherited, and I know it doesn't run in any of my family. I know that I could go to the doctor and have more tests done, but I am on a limited income and have no insurance. I was just wondering if anyone knows anything about this, and what will happen as for as pregnancy is concerned if I happened to get pregnant, how dangerous could it be for me and the baby?
