I never wonder before that hypertension can make us to have heart disease. Its dangerous and i think when i feel too stress. I just need to take bath and do some exercise like jogging. Did you agree with my way? Its works with me..Smile
Hypertension can cause heart disease because for the fact that our heart is the who sends oxygenated blood from our entire body that includes the medulla oblongata which is the responsible for controlling several major joints and autonomic functions of the body. With difficulty of pumping oxygenated blood from our entire system the heart causes many problems includes cardiac arrest etc...

To prevent Hypertension you should:
1.Eat low salt and low fat diet
2. Have a daily exercise(passive exercise) like walking and stretching.
3. Avoid strenuous activities like lifting heavy things, running, etc...
4. Check your BP daily.
5. Increase your fluid intake 3L per day
ur precautions will helpful a lot for hypertension persons...
but i read it on some where by doing exercise will hypertension decreases...
Of course, high blood pressure and hypertension is bad.

I usually try to meditate once a day.

It helps a lot.

I found this blog extremely useful...

Hypertension, referred to as high blood pressure, HTN or HPN, is a medical condition in which the blood pressure is chronically elevated. In current usage, the word "hypertension" without a qualifier normally refers to arterial hypertension. Rolleyes

I have found this great blog, http://heart-healthtoday.blogspot.com/
Where we can learn useful tips on how to take care of your health to live a healthy lifestyle and prevent health disorders such as heart diseases, blood disorders, diabetes, stroke plus other life threatening diseases.
High blood pressure (HBP) or hypertension means high pressure (tension) in the arteries. Arteries are vessels that carry blood from the pumping heart to all the tissues and organs of the body. High blood pressure does not mean excessive emotional tension, although emotional tension and stress can temporarily increase blood pressure. Normal blood pressure is below 120/80; blood pressure between 120/80 and 139/89 is called "pre-hypertension", and a blood pressure of 140/90 or above is considered high.
There is another, natural, effective way:

In fact, easily you can cure your hypertension by simple measures. Without pills, and for good. Probably, as in most cases, you will succeed to reach your normal blood pressure within only 6 - 10 weeks.

The principle is, to allow your body to normalize your blood pressure, by re-establishing the natural blood circulation conditions of your cardiovascular system. This happens, if you introduce certain changes in your daily feeding habits: E.g. stopping the common oversupply with protein, and returning to a kind of "civilized origin nutrition", appropriate to the genetic programming of man.

On the one side, this reinforces the regeneration capacity of your body. On the other side, this enables your body to eliminate those substances, that up to now have accumulated in the walls of your cardiovascular system (especially in the basal membrane of the blood vessels), narrowing its lumen and increasing its flow resistance. Also, the viscosity of the blood decreases, the blood becomes thinner and receives a higher oxygen capacity at the same time.
